Project VictoryRedSS Fund Raiser newsletter

Project Victory Red SS' latest news

Well, it is time again to have an official update regarding the project.

January 2010 UPDATE

After ending the last year with the project moving a bit slow the next few weeks should be a bit more hectic as we are planning to have this car ready for April and race season (I know, haven't I said that before - several times now)

The shop has finally finished the engine & tranny mounts and now they will work on finishing the tunnel, mounts the seats and finish the roll cage. The roll cage is not sufficient enough for the 25.1.e classification that we will need.

The Project Shifts to High Gear

Well it is time to let you all know the good news about the project. This time I have some big news and some ambitious goals.

The car is on it's way home and it will arriver here on July 31st. On August 4th, it will be delivered to Resnick Automotive Specialties where the work will start happening.

Harvey Resnick will oversee the bulk of the remaining work to be done. I will be doing some of the work with the help of my friend Andrew as well as some other local volunteers from the forums.

WARNING: Death of the Project Looming

WARNING: Death of the Project Looming

It with a heavy burden that I must announce that it seems like the death of this project may come within the next week or so.

After talking with the Powell Motor Sport about the cost of completing the project, I have to seriously consider that the dream is likely about to die a painful death. Last night I was given the shocking news that we are looking at approximately another $80,000.00(USD) to finish the project. That dollar amount does not include the cost of my pending legal case with the previous main shop.

The purpose of the car.

I am sending this out to you all as a newsletter as well as posting it on the front page. I want to make sure that the people who may not have read many of my posts on the forum understand the following so that know one feels like I wasn't being totally upfront.
Pleae feel free to send me any questions or feedback that you may have.

Thanks,

Rod

The Car’s Purpose

I would like to take the time to explain some more about the car project and what I have long considered to be “its purpose”

Win a ticket to Project VictoryRedSS' Unveiling Party

Hello Everyone.

This is the 1st official newsletter of Project Victory Red SS.

Being that it is the first, please don't be surprised if a bug or two needs to be worked out.

There are a couple of big things to announce right now and the first is the contest that we started yesterday. That contest will run until the project is completed and the winner will be joining in on the party when the car is finished.
