Project Gets A Reprieve

After struggling with the news of everything that is wrong with the car and the possibility of the project dying, we are looking at this project from a different angle.

We are now into this project 3 years today and what harm will there be if we take a while longer to get it done? People have been suggesting plenty of ways to keep the project alive and I am listening.

While we are looking at the hard numbers for completion, we will accept doing the rest of the project in stages.

We will look at installing a strong LSx but wait until possibly next year to build the engine up to it's HP goal of 1,000 +HP.

This allows us to rectify many issues and get the car up and running. If we settle for 500ish HP now we will still have a quick car for the street and as funds allow, we will be able to have the engine built and dropped in.

The kind of time frame we are looking at won't be known for a couple of weeks. It is possible to also spread the work out to help reduce the cost.

The bottom line is that we are not killing this project. We still need and depend on the help of those who care about this project. Donations really help keep us moving forward as well as encourage us. Knowing that we aren't alone in this really helps us keep the faith in this project.

For those who have donated or are thinking of donating, those funds are/will be held until actually spent on the project. On top of the donation, every part that I sell, from the unuseable parts, goes straight back to the project. This will help the fund grow. :)
