Win a ticket to Project VictoryRedSS' Unveiling Party

Hello Everyone.

This is the 1st official newsletter of Project Victory Red SS.

Being that it is the first, please don't be surprised if a bug or two needs to be worked out.

There are a couple of big things to announce right now and the first is the contest that we started yesterday. That contest will run until the project is completed and the winner will be joining in on the party when the car is finished.

Everyone who uses the signature codes and affiliate links will be entered in the contest to win an Airline ticket to Toronto Ontario for the unveiling ceremonies. The winner will also get a ride in the car down the race track, at the allowable speed for passengers. Sadly, the winner will have to share a room with me as I am broke. Spending money isn't a part of the prize but then again, rules are simple and easy, just spread the word of the website and the fund raiser across the internet.

There will be plenty of notice of when the unveiling is going to be, at least 3 weeks. We anticipate it will be on a weekend because of the high interest of the project and the desire of many people to attend the unveiling. This could turn out to be he largest Cobal meet ever.

The other news is that the planning stage of the project has begun and I should have a clearer idea of where we are going with the project, how we are going to get there and possibly even a estimated completion date, by this time next week.

Talking with John Powell, of Powell Motor Sport, he informed me that he and Kurt Urban (the engine builder) had been discussing the placement of the LS2 and large turbo in the engine bay, aswell as the transmission to use. The car itself should be heading into the main shop this week so it gets on the priority list.

I really hope to have another Newsletter to send out next weekend, giving more details on the plan we choose to go with.

Thanks for all of your support,

Rod
