The latest developments....
Submitted by victory_red_SS on Fri, 02/26/2010 - 17:33.As we keep moving forward with the project we find 'issues' that need to be dealt with. One of those 'issues' is is the clearance on the front end because of the rake stance of the car. The way the car is situtaed leaves minmal clearance between the front tires and the stock body rail of the front fenderes. There were a few ideas floated to solve this issue, one being a one piece front end. The down side of that solution was that I couldn't open the hood to see the V8 sitting in the engine bay. If the car was a designated 'track only' car then this wouldn't matter but that is not the case.
Progress is slow but steady.

3 Years Ago Today the Project Started
Submitted by victory_red_SS on Fri, 05/22/2009 - 18:40.I realized that it has been three years ago today that I took the engine out of my car. It is hard to believe how much crap I have gone through in the past 3 years because of this project.
It is just as hard to believe all of the friends I have made on different forums and all the support that I have received, especially when this project has beaten me down.
I have received countless emails and PM's. Many have thanked me for the project and some have cussed me out because I am an idiot for doing this project.
Hello everyone. :)
Submitted by victory_red_SS on Sat, 05/02/2009 - 22:47.My name is Rod, other wise know as victory_red_SS on several different Cobalt forums and one Corvette forum.
I am the person who embarked on the simple journey of trying to squeeze a bit more power out of my 2005, SS/SC, Cobalt.
If you are one of the many you have followed the project over the, almost, past 3 years, then you know it has not been so simple as it was supposed to be.
It was due to the problems that I have encountered that this website was created.
I will be adding new updates, to the status of the project, as they become available.
